Why Do Men Chase Women?

The B plot in Moonstruck revolves around Cosmo and Rose, and their long marriage which is no longer passionate or even openly loving. Rose suspects (and is correct!) that Cosmo is having an affair. She is trying to figure out why men chase women, why do men need multiple women in order to operate. As you'll see when you watch the movie like I've been begging you to, she discovers that men chase women because they're afraid of death. Having affairs and multiple women, especially younger ones, is a way for her husband to pretend he isn't going to die someday.
