Take the Cannoli

"Leave the gun, take the cannoli" is a line from The Godfather, which famously takes place in New York City. However, I can't look at a cannoli without hearing my nana's thick Boston accent! Until she passed away in 2020, we would have holiday dinners with homemade meatballs, red sauce, and eggplant parm. After dinner, we would break out the cannoli, ricotta pies, pistachio cookies, and other delicious Italian desserts. Boston's North End is still a neighborhood filled with Italian cafes, restaurants, and bakeries. The smell of pizzelles and coffee and cheese is everywhere. "Take the Cannoli" is a warm neutral yarn that is inspired by chocolate chip cannoli and the beautiful old bricks and buildings in the North End.
