Why yes, I did create 2 tonal colorways based only on the Public Garden. The Make Way for Ducklings statue commemorates Robert McCloskey's iconic 1941 book of the same name, in which a pair of ducks choose to raise their family on an island in the Charles River. Eventually, Mrs. Mallard and her ducklings (Jack, Kack, Lack, Mack, Nack, Ouack, Pack, and Quack) have to make their way through Boston traffic to get to the Public Garden, with the help of a very kind traffic cop. Did you know that the ducklings get to wear different little outfits for different holidays? They even wear tiny jerseys if a Boston team gets into the playoffs or wins a championship! Children play around the statue and try to sit on Mrs. Mallard and the statue greets everyone who enters or leaves the Garden via Charles Street. Boston also boasts many other bronze statues, so this gorgeous colorway had to be included in the collection.
