Andiamo

I couldn't do this collection without paying homage to my favorite character, Loretta's grandfather. He is unnamed in the movie, and his character title is just "Old Man", but he is what makes this movie feel so true to me! He lives with Loretta and her parents and we see him walking his 5(!!) dogs at once, speaking to them in Italian. "Andiamo! Let's go!" He represents the heart of their family as well as the end of life. He meets his friends at a graveyard to catch up on gossip, he stands up for Loretta, he feeds his dogs from the dinner table. As Rose puts it, "if you feed those dogs one more bite of my food, I'm gonna kick you till you're dead!"
