This color is inspired by the moody colors of the sea and air on Monhegan Island. As a tiny thermal pocket in the middle of Muscongus Bay in the Atlantic Ocean, Monhegan's weather is strange and sometimes unpredictable. Fog and sea smoke will sit around its shores for days at a time, only lifting enough that you can see blue skies above but not so much that you can see beyond the harbor. The foghorns and boat bells are always present on these days, when the air is damp and sound seems to carry even farther than usual. This colorway seeks to represent both the gray and dense fog as well as the blue of the skies and the sea.
