In tarot, water signs are represented by the suit of cups. In the traditional Smith-Waite art, the cups suit depicts people drinking out of, carrying, or simply existing near large golden goblets. This suit translates to the suit of hearts in more modern decks of cards! These cards are all about emotional depth and intelligence, intuition, empathy, and experiences of grief, friendship, love, and heartache. Obviously, the color blue abounds throughout this suit, even though the cups themselves are golden. The card I chose to showcase this color is the 2 of cups, which shows a couple pledging themselves to one another. This card represents love, friendship, passion, and the union of two souls.
